Casting Shadow On The Light

Light radiates. That's what it does. You can cast a shadow from the light, but you can't stop the light from radiating. You can't actually cast a shadow on the light. The light continues even if you stand in front of it, even if you put yourself in a dark room where the light can't find you. The light still exists, and it still radiates.

If you think of the light as goodness, then nothing that happens anywhere ever changes goodness. It seems like a shadow can destroy goodness, but it's just a shadow, blocking the goodness that's there. The goodness is unchanged by the shadow.

There's no force, machination, or power that can touch goodness. It's eternal, immortal, omnipotent, invulnerable, and indestructible. It sits at the center of your heart, unscathed by the antics of the world. It's fearless. It's what you really are at your core, undressed by a physical world.
