The Fear Of Being Left Out

One of the greatest fears that exists in human life is the fear of being left out. It's nothing to sniff at. It causes more distress than all other fears put together. The irony of this is that separation is a perception and not a reality. Another way to say this is that separation is an illusion. You can't actually be left out. The illusion is real enough, however.

Much of what motivates people to act at present is the desire for something not to happen. That is, people act out of the desire to avoid the manifestation of a fear. For example, they work because they fear what will happen if they don't work, instead of working because they like to be around other people, or they like to keep busy, or they like to develop new skills, or they like to feel useful. The acts are the same, but the nature of those acts, the quality of them, will vary according to what's motivating the behavior, and fear is a big motivator still. You reverse this by taking the charge out of the fear so that you feel free to act on what you want instead of what you don't want.

Because it's such a big fear, lots of the global activity is being fueled by people not wanting to be left out. People want to be included, so they conform their activities to whatever standard they believe will make sure they're part of the agenda of the day. This does not put you in control of your life. In order to be in control of your life, you have to be motivated by your desires, not your fears. To dissipate the energy wrapped up in a fear, you have to see it for what it is.

In order to fear being left out, you have to buy into the idea that separation is a reality. If you're looking at the world through physical eyes, leaving your mind out of the equation, separation looks like a proven fact. I'm over here. You're over there. We're separate. Done deal. Thus, separation appears to be true.

Some people will go macro to show that unity is the order of the day and say, "Look, we're all part of one physical universe, so we're all unified." But this doesn't account for the separations that appear to exist within the one physical universe. It doesn't account for the me over here and you over there-ness.

If we wanted to get really accurate on the subject we'd talk about absence or stillness or silence or nothingness as the unified source for all things, but I'll save that for another time. Instead, I think it's helpful to go to the micro when thinking about the unity of everyone and everything. As I mentioned a few days ago, if you look into matter far enough, things become pure energy, and that energy is un-separated. It's in instant communication with all energy everywhere. Space and time are irrelevant when you reduce down into matter far enough to reach pure energy. It's all in complete unity.

The idea that things are not actually things, but are forms of pure, un-separated energy, is a hard concept for the human brain, but we're capable of thinking this way. It's a matter of making these ideas familiar by contemplating them. We can be human, we can be physical, we can be in an environment of space and time and things, and yet know that there are dynamics involved that are not space and time and things. We have the ability to think in terms of non-specificity. That is, we can think beyond the "stuff."

To think in terms of non-specificity, you have to become friends with the idea that multiplicity is embedded within specificity. That is, even though you see a singular, specific object in front of you, the energy that composes it contains infinity. That is, the energy of everything everywhere contains the ability to manifest infinite things. Everywhere you look, whether you're looking at your body, the air that's surrounding you, the walls of a room, the environment outside, you're also looking at multiple potentials at the same time. Within everything is all potentials. That un-separated energy that composes it contains all potentials. What's more, the energy that composes these things is in communication with the energy of everything that exists in the physical world. This is the non-thing-like nature of energy itself. Your physical being is composed of this non-thing-like energy and is, also, in instant communication with the entire physical world.

You can think of everything surrounding you as objects, but when it comes to energy, you have to make an exception, and expand the way you've been trained to use your mind. You have to open up to non-object-ness. It feels weird, but you can do it. This is especially important if you want to understand that you're never alone. It's a physical impossibility for you to be alone. It can look like you're alone, but everything that is you, and everything that is surrounding you, is composed of that unified, instantly communicating energy. Just because that energy is forming things doesn't mean it's a thing. That energy is not a thing. It's not separated out into little packets. It's not a field. It's not physical stuff. It's infinite, instantaneous, non-specified, unified, dynamic, motion and potential all at once. It's the force that allows things to exist. And the more you know about it, the better you can use it.

A very good way to become familiar with the idea of non-separation is by reading up on, and trying, some of the exercises for remote viewing. The research on this is overwhelming. There have been countless studies, and military organizations around the world have programs to train people to use remote viewing. In a nutshell, you use your feelings, your intuition, your impressions, inner images, and so forth to gather information about an environment or situation that exists over a large distance. That distance can be one of time as well as space. This ability exists because the energy that composes everything is in unity. You can access it because it's not separate from you. It's composes you. You're immersed in it right now. It's the dimension we're living in and everything in this dimension.

So, to put it in plain language, you can't be left out. There aren't groups, or separations, to be left in or out of. Everything is one, multiply expressing, constantly pulsing unit of changing form. Literally, everything is composed of the energy of everything and the potential within that energy for infinite other everythings. Think about that next time you're feeling lonely. You have much more company than you ever thought possible.
